A bespoke display cart for London-based jeweller Alec Doherty. Designed and built to his exact dimensions and requirements, the cart provides a dedicated, mobile space to showcase his jewellery.

Constructed from a considered blend of aluminium, melamine-coated birch plywood and glass the piece leans into a utilitarian, semi-industrial aesthetic, one that doesn't shy away from showing the screws and fixings holding it together. The cart is built around modified aluminium baking trays that can be concealed within the cart or displayed beneath the glass top.

The result is a functional, purpose-built piece that balances raw construction with the careful detailing needed to properly display fine jewellery.
